Description

We stock very rare Fine Afghans, such as Shakh, Kunduz, Belgic, Hatchlu, BaBa Sidik, Chinar Gol, Sulaiman,Chub Bash, Waziri, and Chakush. These carpets are selected by experienced members of the Yarash family in Northern Afghanistan. Since they are not produced in large quantities finding these rugs is not easy. Because the native wool used is very hard wearing, these fine rugs will last for generations.

About Us

AMU WEAVERS, is a well known and established, family owned business that has been producing hand-knotted rugs and Kilims for the past three generations. The rugs produced are influenced by old Afghan Balouch, Bokhara, Samarqand, Old Uzbek, Suzani, Sultanabad, Zieglers, Khotans, Indian Agras, Moguls and many Ottoman textiles.
